Our Foundation

A National Mandate

Ekiti Knowledge Zone is anchored in a national mandate, established through a collaboration between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Ekiti State Government, with support from the African Development Bank (AfDB).

The project is part of the broader Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) initiative, designed to transform resource-rich states into industrial and innovation powerhouses, fostering sustainable development and economic diversification for Nigeria's growing population.

As a designated Free Trade Zone (FTZ), the Ekiti Knowledge Zone offers investors a unique combination of fiscal incentives, strategic location, and access to a vast pool of educated, innovative talent in the heart of Nigeria.
